Powertrain
Lift trucks should be tough enough to last for hours of use in many extreme environments. While being ergonomic for operators, these machines have to be able to move loads efficiently and fast. The rugged, reliable Yale powertrain provides excellent durability through its state of the art clutch packs, computer managed engine and transmission and extremely strong shafts and gears. The engine, transmission, steer axle, and drive axle are all isolated so as to reduce vibration and noise within the operator's compartment.

Electrical
The electrical system of a lift truck is responsible for linking the major nerve centers of the truck together. Thus, the electrical system within the lift truck should be durable and dependable for the most demanding wet/dry and hot/cold operations. There is much sophistication required to be able to control truck functionality.

Delivering dependable electronics are a well-known hallmark of all Yale trucks. The Yale CANbus electrical system employs digital technology and lessens electrical connections and reduces wiring as well. This results in improved dependability and remarkable serviceability.

Hydraulics
The lift trucks hydraulics are the vehicle's muscles, giving the necessary force to raise many heavy loads. All Yale trucks feature industrial grade hydraulic components. Several of these parts include: heavy-duty hydraulic valves, leak resistant O-ring face seal fittings, long lasting hoist and tilt cylinders, and fine micron filters. The control valve has been strategically positioned so as to prolong part life by reducing exposure to heat sources.
